We understand that getting your suitcase ready to use again is very important to you. For this reason we offer a wide variety of shipping and delivery options depending on the type, size and weight of each spare part.

Below you will find the answers to many frequent questions regarding our delivery options.

Shipping Services & Delivery Areas

We are constantly expanding the list of countries / regions we are shipping spare parts to. Currently, we deliver to the following countries / regions:

The delivery time will depend on when your order has been placed and your delivery region.

Typically, your order will be processed on the next business day and handed over to the courier on the same working day.

Within Germany parcels are delivered within 1-3 working days (depending on the service selected).

Parcels within the EU are delivered within 2-5 or 2-6 working days depending on the delivery region. You will be shown the delivery time for your country and for the available shipping services during checkout.

For parcels to Bosnia & Herzegovina, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Serbia, Switzerland and the United Kingdom delivery can be expected within 2-6 working days after they have been handed over to the courier.

For international parcels with a destination country which is not listed above the delivery time is between 10 and 14 business days.

Most of our parcels are shipped with Deutsche Post / DHL or DPD (within Europe).

Depending on the delivery region it is possible that the last mile carrier is different from the original carrier.

Shipments sent with the DHL Warenpost service (small parcels) are transported using the postal network and may be delivered by a local post service.

Depending on the size of the spare parts you wish to order one or multiple courier options may be available during checkout. Due to the cost of international deliveries we can currently only offer standard deliveries.

For small and light products we may offer you the DHL Warenpost delivery service during checkout. This delivery service is only available for a select number of parts and is transported using the postal delivery network to the destination region.

We currently do not offer to ship to parcel shops or parcel lockers as these are not supported by every courier and for every delivery option. Orders placed with a parcel shop or parcel locker as the delivery address will be cancelled automatically.

After the order has been handed to the courier you will be able to check on the courier website if it is possible to direct the parcel to a parcel locker or parcel shop.

Please note: For parcels sent with the DHL Warenpost service a delivery to a parcel shop or parcel locker is not supported.

Currently, we are unfortunately not able to offer express shipping for our products as the shipping cost would in many cases be a multiple of the product value.

Delivery cost & fees

The shipping price is calculated dynamically in the checkout and depends on your delivery region and the weight and size of the spare parts you have ordered.

Generally, telescopic handles are most expensive to ship due to their large size. In these cases the delivery cost within Europe is significantly lower compared to international shipping.

For smaller parts such as wheels, locks or zipper pullers the shipping cost is comparably lower and you may be shown multiple shipping options depending on your delivery region.

If you have to pay the shipping cost in case of a warranty case depends on the warranty policy of the brand your suitcase is from.

In case suitcase.repair is authorized to provide spare parts on a warranty basis for a brand we follow the brands warranty policy for the handling of your case.

In many cases brands do cover either the cost of domestic shipping (to the country the product has been initially delivered to) or have a certain threshold until which shipping fees are covered regardless of the delivery region. Our service team will provide you more information on the shipping fee after your warranty case has been approved.

The prices on our website do not include import tariffs, import VAT or other fees which may be due in the delivery country. The courier will charge any applicable VAT and import duties upon delivery or inform you prior to delivery to pay any outstanding fees.

In many countries there is a threshold below which no import fees are raised. Please kindly check your local import regulations to find out more.

Exception: For deliveries to the United Kingdom you are not responsible for the payment of import duties or VAT if the order value (incl. shipping) is below GBP 135. For orders with a value above GBP the courier will contact you for the payment of import VAT and import tariffs (if applicable).

We are always trying our best to offer you a wide variety of shipping options and to offer you the best rates possible for a given parcel size and weight.

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer cheaper rates than those displayed during the checkout.

General Questions

All our products are shipped from Germany.

Unfortunately, we currently do not permit to collect orders directly from our warehouse.

The notice 'limited tracking' is shown for the delivery service DHL Warenpost. For this delivery service the parcel is transported not using the parcel delivery network but using the regular postal network.

For this shipping option it is not unusual that only few tracking events appear e.g. initial scan in the postal center, delivery scan. In some cases it is also possible that the initial scan is missing - in such cases we would kindly ask you for a little patience as in most cases your parcel is already being transported further.
